Immerses Black youth and families in cultural arts, heritage, and rite of passage programs to help them achieve high levels of educational, professional, and artistic excellence.

Creates opportunities for all community members, especially those in low-income communities, to participate in dance programming that bridges differences and advocates for the importance of the arts.

Offers supportive housing, emergency shelter, and wraparound services to New Yorkers threatened with homelessness, in order to level the playing field for those who face housing instability, health disparities, and barriers to education, employment, self-sufficiency and wellness.

Provides low-income residents and minority groups – especially young people and older adults – with opportunities to engage in arts education and performance arts.

Fosters a supportive, compassionate alternative for canners — people who collect empty beverage containers to then redeem for five cents each — to access redemption services that create pathways for their financial, social, and environmental empowerment.
