Supports Arab immigrants with community involvement through adult literacy programs, immigration legal assistance, health and wellbeing support services, and youth programming.
Provides cultural, linguistic, and trauma-informed social services to immigrants and refugees including adult education, youth enrichment, mental health counseling, and social service enrollment.
Harnesses the collective power of Brownsville residents to improve housing conditions, increase homeownership, bolster the socio-emotional development of local youth, and encourage economic mobility.
Supports new mothers and their infants in an effort to reduce infant mortality and improve maternal and infant health outcomes through community-based activities for populations disproportionately affected by poor birth, infant and health outcomes.
Partners with youth to end dating abuse and domestic violence through preventive education, supportive services, legal advocacy and leadership development, and counseling.
Strives to minimize isolation and loneliness for people who are dying and facing the end of their lives alone by matching them with doulas who provide weekly end-of-life care.
Supports families and children affected by crisis, illness, or loss through legal support for custody and eviction, HIV/AIDS prevention services, and mental health services.
Partners with school districts, schools, and educational organizations to provide high-quality programming co-created with undocumented and mixed-status students and families to establish schools as a safe haven for these groups.
Strengthens family relationships and promotes parent-child bonding through volunteer days, youth leadership programming, adult ESL classes, social service assistance, and a wide range of culturally competent programs.
