Strives to abolish the punishment-based carceral systems that disproportionately affect BIPOC and immigrant communities by organizing, creating strategic partnerships, and convening shared learning spaces.

Provides direct services such as language classes and leadership training, organizing, and political education to defend Black migrants, stop anti-Black deportation, and end the surveillance and detention of migrants in the United States.

Engages young people in youth leadership councils and campaigns against racist educational practices in order to repair the harms of segregation and achieve authentic integration and equity.

Provides civic engagement workshops for women, mentorship programs for justice-involved youth, and public education classes to Muslim Americans and people of all faiths to demonstrate the complexity of and to enhance the Muslim American experience.

Represents over 200 immigrant and refugee rights groups in New York State and provides them with a platform for collective action through community organization, education, and advocacy.

Strengthens family relationships and promotes parent-child bonding through volunteer days, youth leadership programming, adult ESL classes, social service assistance, and a wide range of culturally competent programs.

Works to end mass incarceration and promote social justice by championing a grassroots campaign that proposes legislation for the release of aging people in prison and those serving long sentences.

Champions the rights of street vendors as small businesses to earn a living and contribute to the culture and life of New York City through legislative advocacy, trainings, and legal support.

Equips New York City public school students with the tools to organize their communities and amplify their voices in order to reimagine an equitable, anti-racist future for themselves and their communities.

Builds power among low-income people affected by HIV/AIDS, the drug war, mass incarceration, and homelessness through community organizing, leadership development, policy advocacy, direct services, and research.
