Builds Black people’s capacity to become developers of their communities through collective ownership of their artistic production, neighborhood real estate and land, businesses, and cultural institutions.

Supports young people who are at risk or living with HIV/AIDS by providing a unique health and mental health program to remove the barriers that often prevent youth from accessing health care.

Provides services that address the needs of older adults as they age to improve their health, well-being, financial security, and physical safety, and to prevent social isolation.

Provides women and families with housing and comprehensive support and case management through housing and justice initiatives, including an alternative to detention for women at Rikers Island

Immerses Black youth and families in cultural arts, heritage, and rite of passage programs to help them achieve high levels of educational, professional, and artistic excellence.

Partners with school districts, schools, and educational organizations to provide high-quality programming co-created with undocumented and mixed-status students and families to establish schools as a safe haven for these groups.

Engages young people in youth leadership councils and campaigns against racist educational practices in order to repair the harms of segregation and achieve authentic integration and equity.
