Brooklyn Org’s support and grantmaking for Brooklyn nonprofits is informed by our commitment to listening to and engaging with communities at every level of our work. Our annual Listening Tours series helps us build relationships with neighborhood leaders and grassroots organizations and stay informed on challenges and opportunities for investment across our borough.

Youth Session for Students

Registration for stipends is now closed, but young people ages 14-19 are still welcome to join us. Stipends will only be provided to participants who registered by July 14 and attend the full session.

Brooklyn Org is a nonprofit dedicated to our borough, and we want to hear what young Brooklynites from across Brooklyn think about their communities. Join us on July 16 for a group conversation about the issues, challenges, and opportunities facing local youth today.

2025 - People's Pulse Survey & Community Forums

After completing the first three-year cycle of our Listening Tours, in 2025 Brooklyn Org worked with local partners to launch The People’s Pulse survey. The survey, which reached 3,000 New York City adults across all five boroughs, offered insights into the most pressing issues facing residents.
