Why did you open a DAF at Brooklyn Org?

We have had a DAF through another financial institution for several years, but given our commitment to Brooklyn Org, we felt it made sense to move the DAF so that we could support the organization that way, as well as through our annual donation.

What issue areas are you most passionate about supporting?

Protecting the rights of immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers; protecting voting rights and supporting fair and free elections; supporting LGBTQ+ and other systemically marginalized communities.

How does your DAF help you support Brooklyn and your community?

We have lived in Brooklyn for more than thirty years and value the incredible diversity and commitment to community that makes Brooklyn what it is. We want to do everything we can to support that—while continuing to give to national and international organizations we feel strongly about as well.
