Carly Holin
Donor Services Manager (She/Her)
Carly joined Brooklyn Org in April 2026, bringing a deep commitment to grassroots advocacy, advancing social justice, and immigration reform. Originally from the Midwest, she graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in Cultural Anthropology, focusing on Indigenous Islamic Communities and Ethnography. Prior to joining Brooklyn Org, Carly’s career spanned Special Education and the nonprofit sector, supporting Muslim refugees, asylum seekers, international relations, and veteran employment. Through these roles, she developed a passion for uplifting underserved and disadvantaged communities through hands-on community building, strategic fundraising, and data-driven impact.
A fun fact about Carly is that she served in the Peace Corps throughout the covid pandemic, but remained stateside due to travel restrictions, though she hopes to one day be back in the field, growing sustainable missions globally. In her spare time, Carly enjoys iced lattes, painting, watching movies, and long walks to explore the city.
