Provides Mexican and Latin American immigrants with a wide range of services spanning migrant rights, economic justice, mental health, and health and wellness, and encourages community organizing and civic engagement to help immigrants establish sustainable themselves socially and economically.

Provides Bedford Stuyvesant and Crown Heights community members with a hub where they can seek resolutions for interpersonal conflict and be connected with resources that promote safety, healing, and wellness, with programs that range from anti-gun violence work to youth services.

Equips young people to expand access to birth control and reproductive options in Brooklyn and statewide through legislative training, work on college campuses, and paid professional development that prepares them for public service careers.

Runs a community center that connects residents of the Starrett City and East New York area to career prep, benefits counseling, and wellness services, alongside community meals and food grown on-site in its Learning Garden.

Provides parenting programs and resources that help caregivers tap into their inherent potential to parent sensitively and nurture their children’s developing brains during the first 1,000 days of life, working to interrupt intergenerational trauma and reduce adverse childhood experiences.

Supported through our Brooklyn Backs Brooklyn campaign to meet the moment, with a focus on protecting families.

Supports NYC’s growing population of older and disabled adults who have no family or friends to care for them, by advocating for more state resources to train guardians, providing holistic benefits and case management services, and developing legal models that preserve independence for older adults without the need for full guardianship.

Offers therapy groups, legal assistance, English classes, case management, and multilingual peer support alongside community events like Brighton Beach Pride to help LGBTQ+ immigrants and refugees in South Brooklyn navigate services, reduce isolation, and build visibility.

Connects immigrants in Sunset Park to a range of services including health screenings and English classes, providing a welcoming community resource hub.

Produces an intergenerational documentary film as part of a broader effort to reduce loneliness and connect neighbors through storytelling, public screenings, and community workshops.

Fosters a supportive, compassionate alternative for canners — people who collect empty beverage containers to then redeem for five cents each — to access redemption services that create pathways for their financial, social, and environmental empowerment.
