Timothy “Tim” Simons is a seasoned executive and co-founder of Forethought Advisors with more than two decades of experience in corporate and government relations, specializing in policy and regulatory strategies that expand access to capital for underserved communities. A former Vice President and Senior Compliance Officer at the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, Tim collaborated closely with national policymakers—including Congresswoman Maxine Waters and the Congressional Black Caucus—on the creation of the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion in HERA and Dodd-Frank. Through his visionary work at FHLBSF, he also spearheaded the creation of the groundbreaking $100 million Donor Advised Impact Investment Fund, the Quality Jobs Fund, an initiative designed to cultivate quality job growth and strengthen opportunities for the Bank’s customer base—earning recognition from community groups and members of Congress. With additional financial and operational expertise developed at KPMG and Cable & Wireless, Tim brings deep insight into the intersection of legislation, capital access, and donor-advised fund innovation. He holds an MBA from the University of Maryland, a bachelor’s in Accounting from Hampton University, and serves on Brooklyn Org’s Board of Directors.
Nicole G. Epps has over a decade of progressive leadership experience in strategy, management, and meaningful engagement with philanthropic and program partners working within under-resourced communities. Prior to joining Brooklyn Org, Nicole was the Chief of Staff at the Osborne Association, a human services agency that works with recently and formerly incarcerated participants as they work to re-enter their communities.
