Mother’s Day is right around the corner. If you are looking for the perfect way to celebrate, we have you covered.
The third annual Show Brooklyn Some Love Fest is officially returning this spring.
It is happening on Saturday, May 9, 2026. The best part? It is completely free to attend.
Treat mom to a hands-on floral experience at the Mother’s Day Flower Bar. You can pick your favorite fresh stems and design a custom bouquet.
Then, you can glam it up with ribbons and a personal message! (Note: it is one free bouquet per family while supplies last).
While you are there, you can indulge in $1 dessert specials at DeKalb Market Hall. Grab sweet treats from local favorites like Cafe D’Avignon, Teamakers, and Soft Swerve.
The festival is packed with interactive programming, specifically designed for kids ages 1 to 10. The outdoor performance schedule at Albee Square Plaza includes:
You can also head out to the car-free Albee Square West area to check out the Brooklyn Museum on Wheels.
Kids can enjoy castle building, soccer, and a dedicated Bead Bar. Inside City Point on the ground floor, you will find a photo booth, arts and crafts, and a Brooklyn Ballet Ballerina Meet & Greet.
The event is hosted by Brooklyn Bridge Parents alongside Brooklyn Org, City Point, Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, and the Stardust Fund.
“Show Brooklyn Some Love Fest is a beautiful reminder that celebrating moms is really about celebrating the heart of our communities,” said Jocelynne Rainey, President & CEO of Brooklyn Org.
“Mothers are the backbone of our neighborhoods, and this event reflects the love they pour into Brooklyn every day.”
Erica Roseman from City Point added that the festival is all about creating a “joyful, welcoming experience” while spotlighting the artists and organizations that make the borough so special.
While strolling through the festival, you can also view large-scale outdoor sculptures from Monuments to Motherhood.
These beautiful art pieces invite viewers to reflect on themes of labor, care, and community.
Spots are filling up, but you can still grab free tickets right now.
