There’s something special about summer in Brooklyn. Every year, our borough comes alive with block parties, concerts, festivals, and moments that remind us why Brooklyn is the cultural capital of the world. But this summer feels even bigger.
As New Yorkers rally behind the Knicks in a historic NBA Finals run and the world turns its attention to New York City ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, our communities are already embracing a season filled with joy, connection, and celebration. From Pride and Juneteenth to beloved neighborhood traditions like BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn!, the Lay Out, and the Greenest Block in Brooklyn contest, this is shaping up to be a summer for the history books.
At Brooklyn Org, we’re proud to partner with the following organizations that are creating opportunities for Brooklynites to celebrate what makes our neighborhoods extraordinary.

And all summerlong, we are partnering with NYC Footy leagues across Brooklyn to create opportunities for residents to come together around the world’s game—including a World Cup Watch Party at Brooklyn Bowl on July 2.
What connects all of these moments—whether they happen in a park, a museum, a concert venue, a soccer pitch, or a neighborhood block party—is the power of community. At Brooklyn Org, we’re proud to help support the organizations, leaders, and partnerships, making these experiences possible.
