2024 was a milestone year for Brooklyn Org – from the launch of our “Show Brooklyn Some Love” boroughwide PSA campaign to our move to 80 Hanson Place (and new mural around the corner on Atlantic Ave)!

We have been busy building this new movement for Brooklyn, and we made so many new friends along the way. We welcomed record-setting attendance at the Brooklyn Org Spark Breakfast last March and surpassed our wildest dreams with 600 people at our Brooklyn Org Changemakers Ball in October.

It was also a year of firsts with our inaugural Brooklyn Org Volunteer Day in the spring and our Nonprofit Conference on AI the fall. And we joyfully continued our partnership with the Social Justice Fund on the Just Brooklyn Prize, as we also made our way across Brooklyn talking to our neighbors at our Listening Tours.

2025 promises to be an even more significant year as we continue to grow this community of champions for Brooklyn, in pursuit of a more fair and just borough for all. We are eager to rise to every challenge and take advantage of every opportunity that comes our way.

We will have much to do and we need you to be part of it! We invite you to reach out to us with your ideas on how we can partner to do more for our communities together – drop us a line with your thoughts for the New Year at ceo@brooklyn.org
