We are proud to partner with Etsy, the global marketplace for unique and creative goods that is headquartered right here in Brooklyn.
Launched in 2021, the Etsy Uplift Fund brings together buyer generosity and Etsy’s charitable giving to support the organizations and communities that help creative entrepreneurship thrive. Today, the fund powers grants in craft communities across the United States through the Craft Catalyst Initiative, directing support to organizations working in some of the country’s most vibrant craft communities.
Etsy buyers in the United States can choose to round up their purchases at check out and donate the spare change to the Etsy Uplift Fund. These buyer donations, as well as charitable giving dollars directly from Etsy, are distributed to nonprofit organizations and community institutions that strengthen craft communities and expand opportunity for makers.

As a seller on Etsy, can I allocate donations to another organization?
All donations will go towards the Uplift Fund, powering grants in craft communities. The Fund’s primary focus is the long-term health of craft communities that help makers thrive, and grants are distributed to nonprofit organizations that align with this mission.
