Civic Engagement
We all benefit when every Brooklynite has a voice in their community and feels empowered to champion collective action

Our Approach
Our nation’s long history of suppressing people of color’s representation in our democracy is reflected in today’s low civic engagement in elections, community boards, and understanding of how decisions are made and what power we have.
We work with nonprofits that mobilize all Brooklynites to create our borough’s bright future together as a community, through voter registration, organizing for policy reform, and local leadership initiatives. We strive to build a Brooklyn where everyone knows that their voice is heard and change is within reach.
JOIN US
Brooklyn Org’s community comes together to back the biggest issues affecting our borough through the work of vital nonprofits. Help us create change from the ground up.
