Brooklyn Org invites you to our second annual nonprofit conference, in partnership with St. Francis College. This year, we’re focusing on the topic of developing local nonprofit boards — nonprofit staff and nonprofit board members are encouraged to attend.

9:15-10:15 | Opening Session: Building Resilient Boards
Panelists will discuss the importance of building and maintaining resilient, responsive boards, especially in times of hardship.
10:20-11:15 | Breakout Sessions: Fundraising Training
Participants will learn the fine points of managing and being a part of a Board, particularly around the topic of fundraising support and the expectations of a Board + Nonprofit relationship.
11:20-11:50 | Fireside Chats: Meeting the Moment
In these relatively informal chats, panelists will discuss the impact of current events on nonprofits, both from the angle of a Board member and a nonprofit staff member.
11:55-12:25 | Closing Session with Kelsey Kramer, Director of Partnerships at GivingTuesday
GivingTuesday will present key takeaways on giving behavior and trends that illustrate the psychology of the individual donor, and inspire attendees to try new avenues of outreach.
