The Brooklyn Org Spark Breakfast — taking place next Tuesday, March 5th — shines the spotlight on everything that makes our borough the best place in the world. The People

The breakfast is an opportunity to make new connections and strengthen your relationships with people committed to all things Brooklyn. Community leaders from all walks of life will be there – including members of our diverse Spark Prize Committee – representing the worlds of nonprofits, local government, business, philanthropy, and everything in between.

You’ll hear from Drive Change, Neighbors in Action, Power of Two, Sure We Can, and Youth Design Center, who are moving the needle for racial justice across our borough. From supporting new parents to helping youth develop job skills for the creative economy and more, their stories will touch your hearts – bring your tissues!

The Venue 

The Brooklyn Museum is one of the most iconic institutions in the borough as well as the second-largest museum in New York City. From the moment you step through the doors, you’ll be struck by the modern elegance of the grand pavilion, which unites past and present – the brick piers dividing the pavilion and lobby once made up the original building entrance. You’ll dine next to world-class fine art, and in the best company that Brooklyn has to offer.
