Our Door Is Open: Come Meet Our Team!

At Brooklyn Org, we are honored to work with generous individuals and families like so many of you who have established funds with us. Whether you’re a long-time DAF holder, or someone just learning about the benefits of opening a fund, our door is open – come meet our team!

Our donor services team provides personalized support to help you on your giving journey, from philanthropic advising to offering you opportunities to feel more connected to your community and the causes you care most about.

We are proud to partner with long-time and new fund holders alike to help their giving plans come to life, and making that connection in person is the first step. We invite you to get in touch and set up a meeting with our team soon to learn about all that we have to offer.

Personal, Dedicated Service

Unlike large corporations that offer Donor Advised Funds – where access to a dedicated donor services team can be rare – Brooklyn Org’s team is here to help you every step of the way. We’re happy to meet with you individually or join a meeting with you and your financial advisor to help determine the charitable tax strategy that works best for you. This includes evaluating the best assets to give to your fund(s) at Brooklyn Org, such as publicly traded stock, and even other noncash assets such as real estate or closely held stock.

Connection To A Network Of Fellow Donors

At Brooklyn Org, our fund holders belong to a community of giving, with chances to connect to fellow donors who share similar interests. Our donor services team hosts opportunities for fund holders to meet and feel welcomed from the very beginning of their journeys with us.

Community Events & Learning Opportunities

We host a variety of events, including educational briefings featuring our nonprofit partners and other issue experts, our annual listening tour where we learn about challenges facing our communities, local volunteer opportunities, and more. When you meet with our team, we can share our calendar of upcoming events to see what aligns with your interests. In the coming weeks, we’re looking forward to the following:

  • Brooklyn Org Briefing: Growing Green Jobs in Brooklyn | March 25th, 11 AM (Webinar) – RSVP
  • Just Conversations: Medical Racism, An Issue Of Life And Death | April 11th, 6:30 PM – RSVP
