Join Brooklyn Org’s Advisory Council

Apply by May 30, 2025 to be a member of Brooklyn Org’s Grantmaking Advisory Council, a group of Brooklynites who guide our grant decision-making through our Participatory Grantmaking Process! We are currently seeking applications from Brooklynites with a diversity of ages, identities, neighborhoods, and professional experiences.

Guided by our belief that those who are closest to the challenges are closest to the solutions, we center residents with lived experience and expertise as key decisionmakers in reviewing grant proposals, conducting site visits, and selecting nonprofits for funding.
