May Day and the Met Gala are in the rearview, and the lazy, crazy, hazy days of summer are still a few weeks away. But our fair borough continues to have a seemingly endless array of notable events. In particular, probably thanks to the finally-warming weather, this edition of the Weekend Guide contains a ton of fests and fairs. But if none of those sound good, there’s always the sweet, sweet combination of Meryl Streep and ABBA to get you through.

Show Brooklyn Some Love Fest @ City Point BKYN
11 a.m.-2 p.m.

This family-friendly festival is perfect if you have, or are, a kid between 1 and 10. There will be performances, face painting, and a free Mother’s Day Flower Bar, where you can pick out your own bouquet and then “glam it up” with a variety of accessories.
