This holiday season, Brooklyn Org, Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, Brooklyn Made, and City Point are teaming up to celebrate local creativity and community pride with the Brooklyn Holiday Ornament Drop, a limited-edition collection of ornaments created by five iconic Brooklyn artists, with sales’ proceeds supporting Brooklyn Org’s Brooklyn Backs Brooklyn campaign.
Each ornament design reflects Brooklyn’s creativity, character, and heart, celebrating the artists and community that make the borough shine. The ornaments, available exclusively at the City Point Brooklyn Made location, showcase the borough’s rich artistic heritage and enduring spirit of innovation.
Ornaments are available for pre-order on the Brooklyn Made Store’s website and the collection officially launches with a special evening event on Tuesday, December 2, from 6–8 PM at Brooklyn Made at City Point (445 Albee Square W). The celebration will bring together the featured artists and project partners for an evening of art, community, and holiday cheer. Guests can meet the creators behind the ornaments while enjoying complimentary snacks, drinks, and festive vibes.
The collection features original designs by Al Díaz, Nadia Ackerman (Natchie), Craig Anthony Miller (CAM), Melanie Hope Greenberg, Tyler Jordan, and Claudia Pearson, and each represent a distinct facet of Brooklyn’s creative identity.

Craig Anthony Miller (CAM) – A Brooklyn native whose vibrant, stained-glass-inspired paintings explore transformation and resilience, often featuring his iconic doves and hummingbirds.
Al Díaz – A pioneering graffiti artist and co-creator of the legendary SAMO© project with Jean-Michel Basquiat, whose work continues to shape the landscape of contemporary public art.
Melanie Hope Greenberg – A beloved Brooklyn illustrator and children’s book author whose colorful art has inspired generations through her picture books and educational work.
Tyler Jordan – A multidisciplinary artist and founder of C.A.N.V.A.S., whose long-exposure photography celebrates movement, light, and the beauty of New York’s transit life.
Claudia Pearson – An illustrator whose globally recognized work celebrates food, community, and everyday joy through vibrant designs on textiles, prints, and books.
These exclusive ornaments can be found at the Brooklyn Made City Point retail location and during special weekend pop-ups at City Point throughout December. Proceeds will benefit Brooklyn Org’s Brooklyn Backs Brooklyn campaign, which aims to raise $5 million during the period of July 2025 through June 2026, so that Brooklyn Org can increase its funding for local communities by 25%. The campaign is in response to cuts to federal social programs and government funding for frontline nonprofits, creating a growing crisis of need in local communities.
“Each ornament is a love letter to Brooklyn. They’ve been handcrafted by artists who embody the creativity and community spirit that make this borough extraordinary,” said Dr. Jocelynne Rainey, President and CEO of Brooklyn Org. “We’re thrilled to partner with the Brooklyn Chamber, Brooklyn Made, and City Point to showcase local talent and give everyone a way to give back this season.”
