Brenda Catalano Joins Brooklyn Org as Inaugural Chief Development Officer

Brooklyn Org today announced that Brenda Catalano has joined the team as the organization’s inaugural Chief Development Officer. In this new role, Catalano will lead BKO’s fundraising, events, and donor stewardship initiatives, working closely with the executive team to advance Brooklyn Org’s mission and impact.

Catalano has deep ties to Brooklyn, having earned her Associate’s degree from Kingsborough Community College before going on to SUNY Albany to earn a Master’s in Social Work. She brings nearly 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience in strategic planning, business development, and fundraising. Her previous roles include Director of Development and Major Gifts Officer at a $250 million Management Service Organization and Statewide Director for New York at a national nonprofit.

With a demonstrated commitment to driving positive change, Catalano’s experience and vision make her a vital addition to Brooklyn Org as it continues to serve and uplift communities across Brooklyn.
